Prepare each Kit for Storage

The kit must be stored safely and securely.

1. The battery capacity must be 30% - 60%. Charge the battery capacity over 30% if necessary or run the kit to drain the battery capacity below 60%.
2. The laptop must be shut down and powered off, not in sleep or standby mode.
3. All components with power buttons must be switched off.
4. Press the on/off button for 5 seconds, to switch off the battery system.
5. Wipe down all components with a soft cloth, removing dust and debris. Do not use hard chemicals or liquids.
6. Pack away all components as outlined under the section “Kit Components”.
7. Remove the leg supports and pack them into the kit.
8. Carefully close the lid of the kit without bending the braided nylon cable sleeve that protects the cables connecting the components on both sides of the case. If the cable sleeve is bent, the cables will be damaged and the kit won’t function.
9. Using the caps provided, close all external ports including the charging port.
10. Lock the kit with the combination lock provided.
